Jensen Update: ....still waiting!

The nursery is complete, now we're just waiting on the baby! I forget how this last leg of the pregnancy drags out forever! We just can't wait to meet her!

We don't have a name yet, the B on the wall was just to tease Scott because that's the first letter of the name that I want.

The dresser was sooooo much work to refinish! I lost my "before" picture, but it was a light oak color. Aside from the sanding and prepping, each coat took me 4-5 hours to apply and there are 6 coats!!! I told Scott never to let me do that again.

Scott even helped me paint the room! In the past he's always said, "you can paint all you want as long as I have no part in it." So I always did it while he was gone. This time he came in the room when I was on the ladder painting the top of the wall. We have 10 ft. ceilings and I guess it looked a little dangerous because he told me to get down from there and that he would paint the top portion of the walls.

I need a new project to keep me busy until the baby comes. Any ideas???

Laughing Moments

Caden is learning so much at school and he is really good at applying his knowledge at home. Yesterday Caden was loading the dishwasher and he said, "Look Mom, I arranged the plates in an A-B pattern!" I went to look, and sure enough, the plates were big, small, big, small, etc.
Scott got home and was wrestling around with Blake. He said, "Holy cow, you are getting SOOO heavy!" To which Blake replied, "I just ate a cheese stick."
We told the kids that we are having an ultrasound in a couple weeks and the doctor will be able to see it and tell us if it's a boy baby or a girl baby. Caden said, "How can he tell if it's a boy or a girl?" While Scott and I were choking on our answer he tried to answer his own question. "Do the girl babies have longer hair than the boy babies?"
